Now, rather than simply passing through the moon, as long as you have this photo of the Quantum Moon open and visible, you should pass through its murky atmosphere and be able to land on its surface. Now, keep this up and open on the screen in your ship as you make your way towards it. When you see the Quantum Moon circling a planet, equip your Scout with RB.įire it off and snap any kind of photo of the Quantum Moon. Instead, you’ll actually need to take a photo of it with your Scout Drone. Landing on the Quantum Moon in Outer Wildsīecause this is a weird moon that appears and disappears (much like those weird stones that let off Quantum Distortions you can track with your Signal Repeater), you can’t simply fly over to it once you’ve spotted it and land on it. Well, here’s how to land on the Quantum Moon in Outer Wilds, because yes, we cracked it. That is the Quantum Moon, and chances are you’ve tried to land on it to no avail. At this point, you should have enough information to get to most of them, at the very least.įinally, as a general tip, be sure to remember that your ship log has a tracking function! It can help you get back to any location you've already been to, except the quantum moon. One of the big mysteries in Outer Wilds is just what the heck the deal is with that mysterious moon that appears and orbits planets and then suddenly disappears when it’s not being looked at. I'd also recommend going after any remaining question marks still in your ships log. It might be worth going back to the lighting area of the City at the start of the loop and seeing if there's an area you don't recognize exploring listed on the lights? You have everything you really need from the City it sounds like, but it never hurts to explore areas more thoroughly for fun! Specifically, there's four major levels, with information on each. well, there's a LOT there, so it's hard to tell which crucial information you're missing there. If you haven't made it to the latter, you can either brute force it, or try to apply the knowledge learned at the former to try and puzzle it out a bit more! (if you've been to both, important information you learned at them should already be in your Ship Log)Īs for the Sunless City. If you're still missing information about the Ash Twin Towers, perhaps the White Hole Station or Black Hole Forge will help give you another lead. I do not want to spoil the game for myself but at this point i am feeling more and more desperate. I am really frustrated and would really appreciate any and all clues as to what to do now. Thought maybe the white hole station was the answer but that was a no go as well as it didnt seem possible to warp there from there despite the fact that I could clearly see the teleport platform on the solar station. Solar Station - I do see it, read entries about it, but each time i tried to get to it I just flew into the sun. So going to the red light is impossible in the bramble as there are so many anglerfish blocking my way.ģ. Tried going slowly in and out of the ship past them but they always ate me anyway. I did learn they are blind, but didnt manage to put that into use. I did find one of the travelers there, but the anglerfish scare the jesus out of me. Dark bramble - Searching for the vessel as well as the escape pod. I assume the tower of quantum knowledge on Brittle Hollow has something to do with it, but i dont know how to get up there as the broken path is too high up (maybe it goes into the black hole later on? Dunno, didnt notice is so far).Ģ. Quantum moon - I phase through it when i try to fly to it and i dont see how else i could get on that. I have 3 solid leads as to where to go but i dont know how.ġ. The only thing I had to look up so far was where exactly to get into the Interloper as I figured out what to do, just didnt know where to get in. Now I am really really lost and i think i need some help. I am about 10 hours into the game, visited all planets except the quantum moon, completed most the rumors that i knew how to do.
